The story behind Pievino
Pievino was founded in 2016 by sommelier and certified Bergen guide Heidi Aas Kvalheim.
The company began with curated wine journeys to Piedmont in Northern Italy, where small groups were introduced to local winemakers, food traditions and experiences beyond the typical tourist trail. At the same time, Heidi started hosting wine tastings in Bergen, building a community around wine, hospitality and shared experiences.
Over time, Pievino has evolved into a broader platform for food, wine and cultural experiences. Today, the company offers guided tours, tastings and tailor-made programmes that connect visitors and locals with the people, places and stories that make a destination unique.
Whether in Bergen or beyond, the philosophy remains the same: authentic encounters, local insight and memorable experiences.

Heidi Aas Kvalheim is a certified Bergen guide and a member of both Bergen Guide Association and the Norwegian Guide Association. She is also a member of the Norwegian Sommeliers Association.
